READING IS FUNDAMENTAL
Not long after I shared community resources in the Black Lives Matter post, I was met with numerous questions pertaining to which books are appropriate for children and focus on diversity and anti-racism. I heard you loud and clear! I am blessed to have a platform to share knowledge as well as highlight those who serve the Black community.
Below I will share some Great Books About Diversity and Anti-Racism. These can serve as conversations starters with your children. Please note, I have listed an ample amount of books for the 4-8 years age group. I urge you to start having conversations about diversity with your children early on in life. Learning to respect and love others starts in the home first.
