In my last post about spring crafts, I mentioned Harper loves picking flowers from our yard. After sharing this, many mamas asked what they can place flowers in their littles pick every day. These DIY Mini Bud Vases only cost a few bucks to make, and a craft time of just a few minutes! If you don’t already have supplies on hand, you can head to your local dollar store for the few supplies needed.
I will be walking you through how to make these mini bud vases on Pinterest TV LIVE on Tuesday, June 28, 2022! Join me at 4:30pm PST / 7:30pm EST.

DIY Mini Bud Vases
Supplies
- Salt and Pepper Shakers
- White Paint (acrylic or spray paint)
- Craft Twine
Instructions
- Unscrew the lids from the salt and pepper shakers and discard.
- Paint the shakers with one coat of paint and set to dry. Ensure there are no drips/bubbles.
- Add a second coat of paint and set out to dry completely.
- Cut two pieces of craft twine (about 6 inches) and wrap the twine around the base of the shaker. Knot with a bow.
At this point, you may use some hot glue to secure the craft twine to the shaker. However, if you will be using water in these do not add glue since this will debond the adhesive.
