I recently headed over to Craft It NC in Indian Trail for a Mom’s group outing to take part in all things DIY. As soon as I entered the craft space, I fell in love! The vibe was so cozy and welcoming.
The creative agenda for the night consisted of soy wax candles and sugar scrub. The class was led by Kenya DeLeon of Garden Mixology Skincare. Kenya walked us through the candle making process. She made sure to explain every step in great detail, She also explained the history of the current candles offered in the market today.
Each of us mamas got to pick 2 of our favorite scents for the candles we would be making. I opted for Pomegranate Ginger and Pumpkin Vanilla. The candle making process was quite simple, and loads of fun. Making a personal sized sugar scrub was an added treat! While us ladies were waiting for our candles to harden, Kenya gifted each of us a custom spinach soap from her line. Yasss! I love freebies!
